Ground Floor – Before shots

Like many traditional Victorian Brownstones Minion Manor came complete with a ground floor apartment separate from the main house. If we were going to appeal to the Brooklyn Hipster community something needed to be done about the 1970s orange and brown theme and prepare for renovations!

If the veneer panels weren’t enough then the old lady bathroom really took the cake

The bedroom didn’t look that bad on first inspection but the photos don’t do justice to the spongy uneven floor and wallpaper held up with duct tape!

The good news is that like the rest of the house the original Victorian trims had all been kept from the window moulding, carved stairwell and the original wooden shutters.
